Creep (crept/crept):
“The cat crept up on the mouse.”
“After the cat had crept up on the mouse, it jumped
to get it.”
Crossbreed (crossbred/crossbred):
“They crossbred a horse and a donkey to get a mule.”
“The
tangelope had been crossbred from two types of fruit.”
