Choose (chose/chosen):
“The king chose his oldest son to be the next king.”
“I thought you already had chosen dinner?”


Cling (clung/clung):
“I clung onto the idea for a while, but changed my mind later.”
“When the animal had clung to it's mother, she climbed the tree.”


Come (came/come):
“He came in the house and asked for his money.”

I thought you would've come to the sports game.”


Cost (cost/cost):
“The car cost more than I could afford.”
“Because the car had cost him so much in gas, he sold it.”


Creep (crept/crept):
“The cat crept up on the mouse.”
“After the cat had crept up on the mouse, it jumped to get it.”


Crossbreed (crossbred/crossbred):
“They crossbred a horse and a donkey to get a mule.”

The tangelope had been crossbred from two types of fruit.”
