Section 24: swing - think

Swing (swung/swung):
“The baseball player swung and hit a home run.”
“The monkey in the zoo hasn't swung on his tree today."


 

Take (took/taken):
“After she took the picture, she went to the store to have it developed.”
“Someone has taken the jewelry. I can't find it anywhere.”


 

Teach (taught/taught):
“The teacher always taught the children to do their best.”
“I know that you have been taught to write this way, but try this instead.”


 

Tear (tore/tore):
“The children tore the paper into little pieces.”
“This was my favorite shirt. I wish it hadn't been torn.”


 

Tell (told/told):
“The boss told me that he was going to promote you.”
“Have they told everyone about the new plans?”


 

Think (thought/thought):
“Oh, I thought the wedding was next week.”
“So you haven't thought of anything yet?

El jugador de béisbol giró e hizo un home run.
“The monkey in the zoo hasn't swung on his tree today."

El mono en el zoológico no se ha columpiado en su árbol hoy.


 

Take (took/taken):
“After she took the picture, she went to the store to have it developed.”

Después de que tomó la foto, fue a la tienda para revelarla.
“Someone has taken the jewelry. I can't find it anywhere.”

Alguien ha tomado las joyas. No las puedo encontrar por ninguna parte.


 

Teach (taught/taught):
“The teacher always taught the children to do their best.”

El profesor siempre enseñó a los niños a hacer las cosas bien.
“I know that you have been taught to write this way, but try this instead.”

Sé que te han enseñado a escribir así, pero trata esto en vez.


 

Tear (tore/tore):
