can't find it anywhere.”
Teach (taught/taught):
“The teacher always taught the children to do their best.” “I know that you have been taught to write this way,
but try this instead.”
Tear (tore/tore):
“The children tore the paper into little pieces.” “This was my favorite shirt. I wish it hadn't been
torn.”
Tell (told/told):
“The boss told me that he was going to promote you.” “Have they told everyone about the new plans?”
Think (thought/thought):
“Oh, I thought the wedding was next week.” “So you haven't thought of anything yet?
