Spread (spread/spread):
“They spread out and looked for the lost dog.”
“He has spread the ball out to many different players."


 

Stand (stood/stood):
“The palace guards stood outside the conference room.”
“Where has the statue stood until now?”


 

Steal (stole/stolen):
“The thieves stole cars to get money.”
“They've stolen over $5 million last year.”


 

Stick (stuck/stuck):
“The man stuck the knife into the lock and opened it.”
“The gum had been stuck to the chair.”


 

Sting (stung/stung):
“The angry bees stung me in six places.”
“Have you ever been stung by a scorpion?”


 

Stink (stank/stunk):
“Wow! That pig stank really bad!”
