Reset (reset/reset):
“After he reset the power, all the appliances worked again.”
“I haven't reset my watch even though we switched time zones.”


 

Retell (retold/retold):
“The children listened attentively as their grandfather retold the story.”
“Fairy tales have been retold for centuries.”


 

Rewind (rewound/rewound):
“We rewound the movie so we could see the funny part again.”
“The rental movies should have been rewound before you brought them back.”


 

Ride (rode/ridden):
“I rode in the back seat on the way here.”
“That old mule hasn't been ridden in many years.”


 

Ring (rang/rung):
“The guest rang the doorbell.”
“How'd you know I was here? I haven't even rung the doorbell yet.”


 

Rise (rose/risen):
“The ocean waves rose over the wall.”
“He has risen from the dead!”
