Call off (something): cancelar
It had been raining all day, so they called off the
game.
If no one arrives on time, we may have to call it off.
Call on (someone). Pedir una respuesta o una acción
In history class today, my teacher called on me for
several answers. Sometimes my boss calls on me to
come in early for work.
Call up (someone): llamar a alguien por teléfono
Will you call up Amber for me?
She said not to call her up. Just
email her instead.
Calm down: tranquilarse después de

She finally calmed down after being upset for a
while.
We're about to enter the library so calm down.
Carry on: seguir
