“Work,
hours, and vacations”
Two co-workers chat at work.
A: What time do you get off?
B: 8:30 I think.
You?
A: I'm not sure yet. I might
try to stay late. Jessica wants to leave early, so I might
stay for her. I'm trying to get more hours this week cause
I'll be out of town next week.
B: Well you can take my
shift tomorrow if you want it. So, where are you going?
A: I'm going up to Colorado.
I'll get to go skiing and see the mountains. It's supposed
to be really pretty there.
B: Yeah I've heard it is.
But why are you going on vacation? I thought you were almost
broke.
A: Well I kind of am. But
I'm going with my family, so my parents are paying for it.
B: Ah, so that's why you're
going.
A: Yeah. We better get back
to work. See you in a bit.
