“Work and cakes”

Two friends say hello and talk about work.

A: Hey, what's up Katie:?

B: Not much. You?

A: I've been working a lot lately.

B: That sucks. So you haven't done anything fun?

A: Well, I usually like my job. It's fun sometimes.

B: What do you do, again? I forgot.

A: I work in an office. I'm an assistant to the director. It's kind of like a secretary, but different.

B: You probably do a lot of random stuff for the director, right?

A: Yeah, usually. Like today, I was planning our party for next week.

B: Oooo, a party. For what?

A: It's the company's 10 year anniversary. Oh, by the way, do you know of a good place to get special cakes made? I want them to write something on the cake.

B: Actually, yeah. My aunt has a bakery on 8^th street. She makes cakes like that all the time.

A: Great. I'll go tomorrow and talk to her.

B: No problem.
